The Forgotten Voices in the Community
Women and children are the most vulnerable and neglected groups in our societies especially in the rural areas. They are most often left behind in decision making when it comes to issues which need to be addressed by all people in the community. Women and children experience all kinds of violence and torture including, sexual harassment, Female Genital Mutilation, Forced Marriages, Early Marriages and many others. Moreover, Girls child are not taken to school compared to boys in the rural areas. Youths are also experiencing unemployment crisis and equipping them entrepreneurship skills help to reduce the unemployment rate.
